• After the peel has been performed, pat the skin dry and apply the Theraderm OPC Reparative Gel. This will instantly stop any stinging that may be present.

• Advise patients that their skin might have a pink color that could persist for about an hour after the peel. Reassure them that the coloration will subside and that they may return to work or social activities.

• The day after an in-office peel the patient should resume using the Theraderm Skin Renewal System twice daily. Periodic refresher peels are encouraged for lifetime maintenance of beautiful skin.

• It is essential that the patient applies the Platnium Protection Sunscreen ( SP30 +)

• If a patient experiences “hot spots” or over-peeled areas, you may wish to recommend a hydrocortisone cream to be applied for seven days.

Patients should avoid all sun exposure for 24 hours post-peel if possible.
