How is TEOSYAL made?

Teoxane Laboratories specialise in the design, development and manufacture of hyaluronic acid-based filling and revitalisation gels and compounds which give an excellent clinical result and which have been shown to be very well tolerated in dermatological applications.

Teosyal is the leading brand and consists of a range of seven products which complement each other and enable practitioners to satisfy the expectations of their patients.

When producing TEOSYAL each manufacturing stage is strictly controlled, from the receipt of raw materials to final packaging.
Numerous tests are carried out on each batch of the Teosyal range, in conformity with EN 1174-1 and EN 1174-2 European norms (initial bio-contamination test) and with the European Pharmacopoeia in force (sterility test, bacterial endotoxins, pH,..).

An ultramodern Manufacturing Unit satisfying the strictest quality controls

The manufacturing unit was created and accomplished in conformity with FDA recommendations (Food and Drug Administration). This unit has been made to order for the manufacture of Teosyal gels and has a sterile room endowed with the most up-to-date equipment.

The manufacturing process is undertaken in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 international quality standards, as well as meeting the requirements of the 93/42 European Directive in relation to medical devices.

Sterilisation of products is carried out in moist heat using a pharmaceutical autoclave, the sterilisation cycles of which have been specifically developed and validated for the Teosyal range.

A Research & Development Department and an integrated Manufacturing Unit

To remain on the cutting edge of Aesthetic developement, Teoxane Laboratories have a Research & Development Department supported by chemists of the highest calibre.

The Teosyal range is thus entirely conceived and manufactured internally by Teoxane Laboratories.
