Pre-treatment

It is recommended, before the treatment to ask the patient to sign a consent form. Risks and benefits of treatment should be fully explained.

You can begin to identify the areas which are going to be treated and to identify if the patient requires topical or local anesthesia.

TEOSYAL Pre/Post injection cream is recommended for the patient before and after injection. Independent studies show that the skin is less sensitive and reactive thanks to its soothing action.

Make-up should be removed and skin cleansed with a suitable anti-bacterial preparation.

Contra indications

TEOSYAL products must not be used :
- in pregnancy, breast feeding mother or in children - if the patient has cutaneous disorders, inflammation or infection at the treatment site or near to this site.
- in patients with a known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or suffering from auto-immune diseases or diseases affecting the immune system.

The patient is not advised to take high doses of vitamin C, aspirin, any inflammatory agents or anti coagulants during the week preceding the injection session.
